Shake Shack started as a hot dog cart back in 2001 in Madison Square Park, New York. Fast-forward 10 years to Shake Shack opening the first ever Middle East Shack on April 7th, 2011 at Mall of the Emirates which marked the brand’s first expansion outside of USA. During this past decade, Shake Shack has launched several menu items exclusive to the region and opened over 40 Shacks across the Middle East.
